Gary Gilman – Owner-President
Gary grew up in Poughkeepsie, New York and attended business
school at the University of Colorado in Boulder. He moved to
Vail in 1977 and founded SteamMaster in 1978 (By the way, 2008
will be SteamMaster’s 30th year in business!).
Gary is a Certified Mold
Remediation Supervisor (CMRS) with the American Indoor Air
Quality Council (AIAQC) and Indoor Air Quality
Association, Inc. (IAQA). From the Institute of Inspection
Cleaning and Restoration certifications he holds include; Water
Damage, Water Restoration, Applied Structural Drying, and Odor
Removal. He has attended numerous industry trainings,
seminars and conventions on all facets of the cleaning and
restoration industry. Always up for a challenge, he enjoys
powder skiing, snowboarding, kayaking, rafting, soccer,
windsurfing, and many other sports. |

Julie
Stoxen – Treasurer - Co-Owner
Julie moved to the area in 1979 after graduating from the
University of Illinois. She is a “hands-on” owner, helping with
the complex internal needs of the company and assisting at
emergency job sites when needed. She and Gary have a daughter,
Maggie, and Julie enjoys being involved in Maggie’s school and
extra-curricular activities. |

Sheila Barber –
Sr. Billing Administrator
Sheila, our computer savvy Billing Administrator,
collects data on completed jobs from our technicians, enters it
into a computer system, and then forwards the bill to the
homeowner or insurance company. She enjoys horseback riding and
is a member of the Single Action Shooting Society, a group which
target shoots with guns patented prior to the turn of the 19th
century. She helps run a target range in Gypsum designed
especially for this group. Sheila enjoys spending time with
her four granddaughters and one grandson, and her two dogs
Chester and Rowdy. |

Josue'
R Colo'n – Technician
Josue is new with SteamMaster and just moved here from
Puerto Rico. His background is in Education. He was also
in the U.S. Army where he was a dental assistant and a
printer. Josue is eager to learn as much as possible about
our services and wants to eventually work in Sales and
Marketing.

Jorge Sosa – Technician
Jorge has just joined us from Guatemala. He works as a
carpet cleaning tech and also helps keep the shop spic and
span. Jorge’s background is teaching (Primary school).
Like many of our employees, he loves spending time with his
family.

Francisco
Camunez – Technician
Francisco is from Mexico. He has a background in mechanical
electronics, plumbing and is certified in carpet and
upholstery cleaning. Francisco and the rest of our techs
are here bright and early in the morning prepping the vans
and trucks for the day’s jobs. He hopes to soon apply for
his permanent U.S. citizenship.

Mark Clark – Production Assistant
Mark joined the SteamMaster team in May of 2004. He initially
signed on as a dispatcher but has changed titles and is
currently a Production Assistant. He organizes the daily
operations by getting the crews lined up and makes sure that
they have all the materials needed. Mark makes himself available
to help the SteamMaster team in any way he can. Prior to
SteamMaster, Mark was an air traffic controller in the U.S. Navy
and a banker. He has 4 children and enjoys hiking, traveling
and riding his motorcycle in his free time. |

Orlando Figueroa – Dispatch
Orlando is our “traffic cop,” coordinating the work schedules
for all the technicians. He can usually be found on the phone
with property managers and home owners confirming that a tech
will soon be there to save the day! Orlando also assists with
recruiting new, hard-working individuals to join our team. He
is bilingual (Spanish/English), served in the military for 15
years and was an electronic service tech for two years. Two of
his hobbies are working on automobiles and electronic gadgets.
Orlando’s number one priority is his family and he loves
spending time with the grandkids. |

Gardoni – Restoration Division Manager
Originally from the Salinas Valley in California, David majored
in Crop Science at California Polytechnical State Institute.
He uses this “techie” degree as our resident Thermographer. In
layman’s terms, he takes a thermal imaging camera into homes to
easily find seeping water and moisture that is invisible to the
naked eye. David is usually out on the road visiting sites in
desperate need of fire or flood restoration. David enjoys
spending time with his wife, Marie, children and grandchildren, and is proud
to tell you that a third grandchild is on the way as of December
2007! He also enjoys hunting, fishing and camping. |

Amanda Gonzales – Receptionist
Amanda is one of our newest employees and she’s the first
smiling face customers see when walking into our offices.
Amanda answers the phones, books carpet cleanings, confirms the
jobs, handles the mail and many other needed tasks. She looks
forward to Sundays at home and watching the Broncos with her
boyfriend. |

Adam Kiss –
Certified Rug Specialist (CRS)
Oriental Rug Division Manager
Adam has lived in the valley for over 20 years and is a
graduate of the University of Colorado. He is SteamMaster’s
long-time Oriental rug and leather care expert and works his
magic when cleaning, repairing or dying your rugs or furniture.
He can’t make them fly, but he can make them sparkle! Adam’s
many certifications include: Master Cleaning Technician, Master
Upholstery and Fabric Technician, Water Damage Restoration,
Carpet Repair and Installation. Schools attended: Certified Rug
Specialist, Wool Care Certification, Advanced Leather Care,
Advanced Leather Repair, Advanced Stone Care and Restoration. |

Brigitte Lowry - Front Office / AP
Brigitte is a “Girl Friday” for our front office and is a
local graduate of Eagle Valley High School. She handles
booking, accounts payable, billing invoices, estimates and many
other tasks. Brigitte enjoys rock music and concerts, boating
and trips with her family. She is the daughter of our Office
Manager, Gina. |

Lowry - Front Office Manager
Gina is our Office Manager and
every day is busy, busy, busy for her and the rest of our
front office staff. She works on restoration billing,
overseeing collections, receivables and keeping the office
running smoothly. When Gina isn’t working, she enjoys
reading a good book or going camping and boating with her
family. She has two children, Brigitte and Bradley.

Rajkumar Manickam - Chief Executive Officer
Raj is originally from Melaka, Malaysia and has a 17 year
background in banking. He moved to the valley in 1998. Raj has
been with SteamMaster for 5 years and holds the title of CEO. He
oversees all the company’s endeavors through division and
department managers. Raj systematically adds his magic touch to
every project and is the workhorse that makes the intangibles
happen. When Raj is out of the office he enjoys spending time
with his wife and 5 year old daughter. “When I first started at
SteamMaster I knew nothing about the Restoration and Cleaning
but loved the people and the environment, I love the industry
and hope I will never have to go back to banking!” |

Div
Manula - Sales Director
Div meets with customers, listens to their concerns, and
then helps find solutions. A typical day has him meeting
customers to discuss carpet or stone cleaning, or a taking care
of a damp crawl space. A world traveler, Div studied Economics
and Environmental Science at Tokyo International University and
Willamette University. He served on a commercial fishing boat
in Alaska for 12 years and also purchased construction and
building materials for sites in the Pacific Northwest and
Scandinavia. He’s seen a lot of buildings and can help you
too! His children and family are a big part of his life. He
enjoys being outdoors with his kids doing diverse activities
such as diamond hunting on volcanoes (Yes, seriously!), hiking,
fishing and jumping on the trampoline. |

Dana
Macik - Property Management Marketing Consultant
Dana is a new member to the SteamMaster team. She joined
us in January of 2007 as a marketing consultant. Dana’s
background is in property management and she holds a degree in
marketing from Texas Tech. Since her arrival, Dana has developed
a “Property Managers Reward Program” that rewards local property
managers and ensures that they are familiar with all the
services SteamMaster provides. She is charged with maintaining
good relations with the property managers and growing
SteamMaster’s cliental. “SteamMaster has provided me with a
great opportunity to showcase their products and skills to a
property management community I know well. I love being able to
make the property managers jobs a little bit easier by showing
them all our products and giving them a reward for choosing us.” |

Mel
McKinney - Marketing Manager
Mel’s job is to make sure the public knows about us!
This includes creating ads, going to business or home show
fairs, or managing mailings to current or potential customers.
Mel majored in Broadcast Journalism at the University of
Colorado in Boulder and has an Associates Degree in Radio & T.V.
Production. She recently attended a “Boot Camp” training to
learn more about our crawl space and basement solutions. Mel
likes being in the outdoors hiking, backpacking, skiing or
snowshoeing. In the summer she can often be found hiking a fourteener peak. She’s involved with KLNX-FM LP, Radio Free
Minturn, Bach on the Rocks, and ThinkFirst, a program with Vail
Valley Medical Center teaching youth to be safe. |

Matt
Monica – Chief Operating Officer
Matt has been with SteamMaster for 20 years and has numerous
certifications. His areas of expertise include; Oriental and
Specialty Rug Cleaning, Advanced Structural Restorative Drying,
Upholstery and Fabric Care, Stone Cleaning and Restoration,
Advanced Leather Care, Carpet Repair and Reinstallation,
Microbial Remediation and Auto Detailing. Matt also finds time
to play golf and spend quality time with his family, not
necessarily in that order. |

Mary
Jane – Controller
Mary Jane is a long time employee of SteamMaster, having
been here for over 20 years. When she started, the company only
had 5 employees and was run out of the loft in Gary’s house. At
that time, Mary Jane was a jack-of-all-trades but has over the
years focused her skills on the accounting demands of the
company and currently holds the title of Controller. She has
seen SteamMaster grow from just a carpet cleaning company to one
that services homes and offices with a myriad of different
services including mold remediation, hard surface cleaning and
fire restoration. “It’s nice to watch the development and growth
of the business and its employees. We have grown in leaps and
bounds since I joined in 1985.” |

Pamela Paine – Collections and Sales
Pamela efficiently books the sales jobs for both SteamMaster and
Colorado Basement Systems. She also takes care of accounts
receivables and collections. Pamela loves spending time with
her two children. |

Howard Rapson - System Design Specialist Howard travels
throughout our service area helping our clients with their needs
and sharing our many services with them. He has attended
several trainings on Basement Systems and Clean Space, and he is
ready to help you with your needs. Howard is passionate about
making our company as successful as it can be and always taking
care of our customers. Graceful on the dance floor,
Howard has also taught ski school for many years in the Vail
Valley (Great dancers do make better skiers!). He is also
father to two daughters, Natalie and Caitlin. |

Wolff - Technician
Jeff has been with SteamMaster for 11 years and is a certified
AMRT (Applied Microbial Remediation Technician). He specializes
in our Mold Remediation jobs. Jeff also installs Clean Space
systems with Colorado Basement Systems. |

Donna Yurcich - Billing Administrator
Donna takes care of our payroll, as well as invoicing for
cleaning jobs such as carpet and hard surface. She also
tracks the Property Manager Incentive Program, ensuring that
they receive their gifts for using and referring SteamMaster

remodeling a house, she enjoys rafting, hiking, biking and
gardening. They also have five dogs, two cats and three
goats. They used to raise pigs, cows and chickens too, but
